First of all, thank you very much for staying with us. Thank you for your feedback and comment. Please allow me to clarify on your feedback (with respect). - You're right that our hotel located not far from Samui airport and Bangrak pier. However, the price that we charge for transportation are likely the same as local taxi. The price will charge per car (even occupied by 1,2,3,4 persons with or without luggage, depend on the capacity of the car). So 2 or 4 persons are the same price if you take only 1 car (if all accommodated in 1 car). Some hotel that may provide complimentary airport transfer may already put this cost in the room rate already, but we don't. So there cost for gasoline, manpower, car maintenance hope you understand on this principle. - Small bottle of water at Baht 70.- which you're thought that overpriced. The selling price of beverage in hotel are almost the same. The point is if you compare with price from convenience store in Thailand then it is big different on price. It's only you take the hotel price with your convenience or go to convenience store to buy and carry back to hotel. In Australia or European countries, price for a bottle of water may not different since the price in convenience store or vendor machine is slightly cheaper than the price that sell in hotel (may only 1$ different). So we do respect you to make decision on buying or not buying. - The most important comment on construction next to the hotel. The Coral Bay resort has stop doing their business and the new project has purchased the land. Now they doing dismantle all buildings (95% completed). We have no idea on their plan and it's beyond our control. We do apologize on this kind of situation that happen during your stay with us. As said above, it's totally beyond our control. Our staff has call all rooms that booked via expedia.com and stay at our resort since we cannot identify you as "anonymous". The result from all expedia guests are fine with no complaints. However, please allow us to clarify all point that you had mentioned: - the pool was too warm and shallow /// trust that we cannot satisfy all guests in the same specific issues. If our hotel pool was too warm, then another resort in Koh Samui will have the same problem. Shallow? each resort are different depth level. But one thing for sure that the size of our pool is bigger than some international brand hotels in Koh Sumui. - Shuttle Bus, our free shuttle schedule from hotel to Chaweng centre (2.3 km) is 10.30am / 3pm / 10pm which suit with guest expectation to go out for lunch+shopping, dinner+shoppiing and for night life. Trust that all guest that made booking via on-line travel agents should aware on resort location before make final decision to book the hotel. - Breakfast, we used to have issue with our breakfast due to guest are vegetarian or other food conditions like gluten free ect.., (there are limited products in Thailand regarding to special food requirement). For your case that mentioned the worst breakfast, please kindly give me more detail that will help us to make the improvement. If 95% of our guest are happy with our breakfast, we cannot ignore those 5% that we may do it better by your comment in details. - Reception communication //// thank you very much for your comment. Dear Sir, After read through your review, I don't know on how to start our response to you. We do understand that this is not your fault to stay with us during this period. However, please allow me to explain as following details: - You may not aware that the southern part of Thailand was affected by storm "PABUK" that hit to our area during 2-5 Jan 19 which still affecting our area with high sea water level and strong wave. - During the storm, the strong high wave had hit our beach area and drag the sand from area behind retaining wall and brought the dead coral in small pieces from the sea to our manmade beach area. - Actual, the beach in front of our retaining wall is longer and wider than you saw, but because of the storm that affected our island up till now. The tide is remaining high which cause no beach at the moment. - The rubbish from the sea are dead seaweed and plastic container that cause by human behavior. The high wave have bring in non-stop during the high tide (which remaining high tide). Our hotel staff (mainly by gardeners) has collect these garbage on daily basis, but cannot do it all day. It's like never ending works. So just to waiting for the nature back to normal. At this stage, we have our staffs to clean the beach in front of our resort on daily basis, one time in the morning and one time in the afternoon. Yours sincerely, The Management Team.
