If you want to stay in Chaweng beach area, I think this is one of the best options for the money. The good: staff is super friendly, smiley and accommodating it was hot when we were there and this was the coolest pool I experienced on the whole island to be honest location is north side of chaweng and right next to a chill beach restaurant/bar called “our place” The bad: -hotel not flexible with depending on policy. I had to pay for an extra night despite staying 10 days. Beware -rooms are a bit simple and lots of little problems (water pressure, thin walls, hot) maybe matching to price -not the best area of the beach and the speakers at the pool are not great -steep stairs to lobby and breakfast place -need to get lucky for room locations on property -pool towels and umbrellas are falling apart -gym is hot and tiny I think overall the location to the price is very good hence 4 stars. Just make sure you get the booking right it make sure to get a flexible option in case you need to change.

This is a wonderful adult-only resort located on a quieter side of Chaweng Beach, the breakfast selection is good and the staffs are very helpful, although the beachfront is shared with other resorts, its all linked and connected as such. The beach on this stretch is one of the better ones around the island, cleaner and less debris.

Great getaway
I’ve stayed at The Chura Samui multiple times and it never fails to deliver. From the breakfast, to pool-side food and cocktails, massages by the beach and the staff, the six days I spent there were perfect.

Chaweng Beach
Lovely resort on the beach within a 10 minute walk to the centre of Chaweng . The rooms are a good size and comfortable. The beach area has access to bars and restaurants, which makes a lovely setting for a sunset drink on the beach . The staff are warm and friendly and helpful . The breakfast was quite basic for the level of hotel and could be improved. Overall a great stay

Nice beach resort with a bit of a climb.
Nice resort on the beach. At end of Chaweng bit far from the center. The Lobby, parking and breakfast are 2 floors above the main grounds, without elevator. To much of a challenge for mobile impaired people. Room is large, with large bathroom. Missing is a simple chair, even when asked for this is not available.

The property was run down. Umbrella’s at the poolside broken. The pool decking is rotting and needed fixing. Very dangerous for patrons. The beds featured in the ads on the beach no longer exist. Our room had a dreadful shower we did not .complain as we just thought it was part of the deal. The air conditioning unit in our room was noisy and made strange noises all night. The shower head spurted out everywhere and was hard to control the temperature. The hand basins only offered cold water. The resort is very cleverly designed and putting all the above aside was and could be wonderful if a small amount of maintenance was carried out. The staff are a credit to the resort.

Great Location
Great staff, pool needs some tile work (they are getting very sharp and jagged), great location although some idiot up the road (not in the hotel or any other hotel we could identify so a private residence or BNB) started playing music really loud after midnight over about 7 nights and lasted one night til 4am, everyone was complaining it kept them awake.

From being picked up at the airport to being warmly greeted at reception with cold flannels and iced tea, delicious breakfasts, clean rooms, exceptional professional staff and fantastic beach and pool swimming Chura Samui has it all! 10 minutes walk to all the action in town, across the road from 7/11 staff are very very helpful hiring a car for us on our behalf and then driving us to the airport again! I am so happy I would highly recommend this resort and would love to return again one day, thank you so much for making our stay just wonderful and just perfect.

I loved how close it is to the beach ! Staff gave prompt services and were extremely polite to every guest. The room is clean and big and the toilet was spacious as well . The resort is very close to the airport and there were plenty of convenience stores and restaurants around . In house bars, massage parlours and water sports activities were also available and the beach was clean too!

One of the best hotels on Chaweng beach. Out of the most noisy and crowded areas but easy to walk or get a tuk tuk to town. The rooms are nice, large and clean and the pool faces the sea. Bestvof all are the staff who are friendly and helpful. A great place to stay

Great location, friendly staff, well equipped
Really clean, well situated resort. Best location on the beach it is on compared to surrounding hotels. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is simple and healthy in general for the small additional cost. Room was well designed, small infinity pool overlooking the beach was a nice cozy touch. Overall we loved staying there and will definitely be back again!

Outdated room. Nice pool and on the beach.
Room needs to be updated. Lighting in the room is poor. Room location was near check-in desk so no privacy when using the terrace. The pool is nice and the hotel is on the beach. A 20 minute walk to the shopping area.

The hotel is perfectly located on Chewang beach away from the busy (dirty) party scene and main drag, but also walking distance in case that’s your thing. The rooms are very nice with little patios and excellent bathrooms with a rain shower that was amazing! The pool is at the beach overlooking the water and the bay that Chewang is on is shallow and very swimable; it’s fun to walk along the beach and checkout the other restaurants and bars. The hotel also offers massages on the beach, which were excellent too! Hotel caters to couples and families mostly, but was also nice for a trip with friends. Big shout out to Chart who made our stay very enjoyable despite the tropical storm that decided to come with us to Samui. He was very caring knowing that the weather prevented us from truly experiencing the greatness of the Thai islands.

Most Friendly Place
When you travel and stay in hotels, the naked truth is: no matter how nice the room is, no matter how good you sleep on the mattress, no matter how wonderful the room view is, how good the breakfast and the drinks are or how special the location is... it always boils down to one and one thing only: the staff. Can they live up to the quality standards, do the make you feel "at home", do they observe, understand and see what your needs are, do they make you feel welcome or even sad to leave? At Chura Samui, everything of the above is just great. But above all, the staff is wonderful: friendly, courteous and happy to help in any situation. The will always go an extra mile to help and accomodate you. All this is what really defines the nice and special atmosphere in this hotel and what makes it such a great place to spend your precious holidays. It's very much the Staff and the management at Chura Samui, that will "make your day", or better said, "make your stay"! Will be back anytime :-D Thank you.
