Enjoy Beach is in a great position, right in the middle of Fisherman's Village. The room was reasonably spacious and the view was really good. Everything else was just not up to standard considering the price we paid (78 USD a night, without breakfast).
After climbing the narrow staircase for three storeys, we found the room not particularly clean: there was a significant amount of sand on the couch left by the previous occupant. After we pointed that out, the solution was to simply remove the cover of the couch, revealing that what was underneath was even filthier. The cover reappeared the following day. The glass of the shower was stained.
Upon check-in, we also found the safe of the room literally destroyed, as if someone had used a hammer to open it: debris were all around. Instead of showing surprise, the owner of the hotel asked us how many nights we would be staying at his hotel. After receiving an answer (3), he probably deemed it was not worth bothering about it and the destroyed safe remained in the room untouched throughout our stay and the promised replacement never appeared.
Upon checkout, the hotel was unable to call a taxi for us. Incredibly, the owner claimed that the taxi driver (presumably the only one he knows) was still sleeping at that time (9.45am). We had to walk out of Fisherman's Village and get a taxi ourselves.
I would not complain if the price was around 35 USD/night which, incidentally, is the price of a room just across the street.
