Altstadt Koblenz

Altstadt Koblenz sits at the scenic meeting point of the Rhine and Moselle rivers. This historic district charms visitors with medieval architecture and cobblestone streets. Deutsches Eck monument marks this famous confluence where river cruises begin their journeys. The area buzzes with activity around Münzplatz square, where half-timbered buildings house cosy cafés and wine bars. Pedestrian-only zones make exploring Gothic churches and museums a pleasure. From riverside promenades to the cable car ascending to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, this walkable area offers countless discoveries.

"Phenomenal view of the Rhine from the flower-surrounded balcony. The only negative was the lack of air conditioning and the first half of each day was direct sunlight, heating the room to unbearable temperatures. "This is a great value, clean, comfortable hotel. It’s contemporary and convenient but not overly fancy. It’s in a cute square close to the train station but the neighborhood felt safe and quiet. The restaurant in the hotel seemed reasonable and there was bike parking inside the hotel for bike travelers. We were there on one of the hottest days of summer and there’s no ac but the room was reasonably cool. Very nice!"
