Extremely overpriced. Pool is impressive, food was lovely but the room amenities were very basic for what we paid (no robes, slippers, hair dryer, body wash etc.) and the service was not at all what we expected for the price which was very wxpens Laundry took 3 days to be returned to us, food took quite a while, we also felt we were overcharged for what we thought would be free (cold buffet on New year's eve). Overall, beautiful island and surroundings but not a luxury hotel, definitely better available for better prices on the island and a little bit sterile for us.

the property is very clean and beautiful. the common area is beautiful and clean. the beach is nice and quiet. there is not much wind and waves on this side of the island, so it is good for kayaking. there are many flowers and trees on the property. it is just beautiful. the room itself is also spacious, clean and beautiful. the bed is very comfortable. we booked 3 rooms. everything in the room works, and everyone was happy with their rooms. what we didn’t expect was the food. the breakfast is amazing. it is not like a normal hotel breakfast. everything is delicious. we also had dinner there everyday, and every dishes we ordered was delicious. all 6 of us love having meals there. all the staffs are friendly and very helpful. we all enjoyed our time there. we definitely recommend this place for anyone going to koh mak

This place might’ve looked great in his heyday, but not anymore. The version you see in the advertisement photos is not what you find when you arrive. We found a rundown version where many things didn’t work as they should. We booked the “Grande Deluxe” room, their most expensive. In that room, we found debris and construction materials leftovers. When we mentioned that the bathtub was not working, they claimed it was not mentioned in Expedia’s posting; thus, they had no obligation to repair it (?). We then asked to be transferred to a similar room where the bathtub did work. Their surrealist answer was that we would need to pay extra for the “upgrade.” We tried to explain that they could NOT upgrade us because we were in their most expensive room. To no avail; they insisted on saying we should pay to have a working bathtub. On the upside, their staff was friendly and well-mannered. The food was good, and the pool area was delightful. On balance, I would not recommend it.

Plub Pla. (The quiet place) Absolutely beautiful, and stunning. The room was fantastic, clean and well maintained. The staff went above and beyond in all aspects, and brekfast was very well done. The resort was extremely quiet and relaxed pace Typically would not stay at the same place twice! But we will be back!

Ich würde nie wieder in dieses Hotel gehen. Das Hotel ist zwar sauber, aber vom Strand war nichts zu sehen. Bei uns wurden die Fenster zugeklebt, damit keine Eidechsen mehr hereinkommen – trotzdem gelangten durch das Housekeeping welche ins Zimmer. Es spricht nur eine einzige Person im Hotel Englisch. Das ist wirklich eine Zumutung, da man warten muss, bis genau diese Person verfügbar ist. Die Rezeption ist nicht dauerhaft besetzt, und über das Frühstück braucht man gar nicht erst zu sprechen: Für Vegetarier gibt es keine Auswahl, und an Aufstrichen gab es lediglich Butter und Erdbeermarmelade. Das Internet war eine komplette Katastrophe – man konnte kaum Filme auf dem iPad anschauen. Einen Fernseher gab es auch nicht. Der Pool war durchgehend warm. Bei 30 Grad Außentemperatur erwartet man eigentlich einen erfrischenden, kühlen Pool. Für das Geld, das wir dort gelassen haben, war die Leistung absolut nicht gerechtfertigt – das Ganze war eher mit einem Hostel vergleichbar. Der einzige, der stets freundlich gelächelt hat und sich wirklich Mühe gegeben hat, war der Gärtner – dafür ein großes Lob.

Gute Unterkunft zu gutem Preis, der Pool und die Aussicht sind super. Die Bungalows insgesamt groß mit einer schönen großen Terrasse. Gute Abstellmöglichkeiten, großes Bad. Der Strand ist auch okay, man benötigt sowieso einen Roller, da die Unterkunft etwas abgelegen liegt. Die Anlage ist ziemlich groß und je nachdem welchen Bungalow man hat, hat man einiges an Fußweg bis zum Restaurant oder Strand. Bungalows sowie Restaurant sind über angelegte Holzstege verbunden, ohne Geländer. Da geht es teilweise rechts und links ganz schön tief nach unten, mit kleinen Kindern aufpassen!

Bene ma non benissimo

Struttura incantevole ed in buone condizioni considerando gli standard Tailandesi. Unico neo il servizio, in particolare di una persona dello staff. L'unico uomo che avevamo soprannominato simpaticamente: Mr. NO. 1. Al check-in ha preteso che pagassi un extra per mia figlia nonostante l'avessi già pagato e gli avessi mostrato la ricevuta. Questione poi risolta con un'altro membro dello staff e pagamento stornatom 2. 5 minuti dopo la chiusura della cucina (20:05) ci ha rifiutato il dessert. 3. Ci ha rifiutato 30 minuti in più per il check-out. Insomma nulla di grave ma un pochino di elasticità aiuterebbe a migliorare le vacanze di chi scappa da stress ed orari.

Très bel hôtel, supérieur à nos attentes. La chambre est spacieuse. Il y a deux douches, dont une extérieure. Le petit-déjeuner est très varié et copieux. La piscine à débordement est vraiment très bien. La plage faisant face a l’hôtel nécessite le port de chaussures d’eau car il y a quelques rochers. On y a pied longtemps. Possibilité de louer des scooters.

Drei Nächte Inselromantik

Ich war drei Nächte im Plub Pla und es war wunderbar Entspannend. Mann kann schöne Strandspaziergänge machen und der Pool lädt ebenfalls zum relaxen ein. Das Frühstück ist ausgiebig und es fehlt an nichts. Im Restaurant gibt es Internationale und authentische Thai-Gerichte. Zum erkunden der Insel haben wir ein Motorbike gemietet. Insgesamt ein toller Aufenthalt.

Ein sehr schönes zimmer , super zum schlafen mit sonnensufgang . Leider kann man dort im meet nur planschen und nicht schwimmen da es zu viele steine gibt . Die anlage und das zimmer ist in meinen 6 wochen thailandaufenenthalt bis jetzt dass schönste gewesen .einziger manko war das meer

Wir hatten ein Bungalow direkt am Strand. Unser Sohn hatte ein Extra Bett (Matratze auf dem Boden) bekommen, welches wir problemlos im voraus dazu bestellen konnten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Uns wurde problemlos der Transfer nach Koh Chang mit Transfer zum Pier reserviert. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausreichend gut, die Gebäcke sowie die warmen Gerichte variirten täglich. Der Infinity-Pool war natürlich ein Traum, zumal es am Nachmittag, durch die Ebbe, nicht mehr möglich war im Meer zu schwimmen. Zum schnorcheln empfehlen wir den Vormittag! Allerdings stand in der Beschreibung das ein Fernseher sowie eine Mini-Bar im Zimmer vorhanden sei, was leider nicht der Fall ist. Auf Anfrage wurde uns mitgeteilt das keiner der Bungalows diese hätten. Wir kamen gut ohne diesen Sachen aus, aber dann sollte man nicht damit werben. Denn die Internetverbindung ist nicht gerade schnell und leider auch nicht gesichert. Trotzdem empfanden wir den Aufenthalt angenehm, zumal die Anlage eines der schönsten, gepflegtesten und ruhigsten auf der Insel ist. Danke für die Gastfreundlichkeit!

Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig gelegen auch die Bungalow sind ganz nett. Leider war es nur kaum möglich zu duschen da nur kaltes Wasser kam und auch mit sehr sehr wenig Druck. Das Frühstück war leider sehr enttäuschend, alles kalt und eigentlich kein Angebot für Vegetarier. Auch der Restaurantbereich ist sehr lieblos gestaltet. Wirklich wohlfühlen kann man sich da beim essen nicht. Der Pool ist schön, leider gibt es nur 7 Liegen! Das Personal ist super lieb und hilfsbereit, das hat uns gut gefallen.

Hallo Ko Mak an sich ist eine sehr ruhige Insel. Das Resort liegt ein bisschen isoliert direkt am Strand. Roller kann man an der Rezeption buchen was man auch sollte. Das Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unterkunft war sauber aber ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Ich glaube das Problem mit dem Wasserdruck ist bekannt….man muß halt länger duschen😀 Wir würden wieder kommem….

Jolies villas dans un petit resort avec piscine

Les villas sont très jolies, suffisamment espacées pour garantir la tranquillité, avec une douche extérieure magnifique et une autre intérieure. Nous avons peu profité de la plage à cause des sand flies présentes sur l'île, mais la piscine à débordement avec vue sur mer était splendide. Le restaurant est très bon et très accomodant, et le petit déjeuner était très bon avec des pancakes et des petits croissants et plein de fruits exotiques très bons. A 15 minutes à pied, sur la route qui passe au milieu de la forêt, on a trois autres restaurants. Le resort est super calme , on n'entend que le chant des oiseaux. Il y avait des kayaks à disposition.
