We arrived in darkness and were welcomed into a cosy bar with an open fire and comfy lounge area. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and had even offered to prepare us a meal as we wouldn’t be arriving before the kitchen closed at 9pm. The room was beautiful and I loved the style, a lovely nip of whiskey awaited us and some shortbread. The room was immaculate with cosy dressing gowns. We stayed 5 nights at the hotel as part of our Scottish holiday celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. We couldn’t fault anything about the hotel. The staff were super attentive and helpful, the food was absolutely delicious and the room was lovely. The location was fantastic although the weather put paid to any chance we had of sitting in the grounds. If you get the opportunity to stay at the Glenfinnan House Hotel then do take it. An absolutely wonderful get away location.

A beautiful property in a very quiet village, which we loved. A really good base to travel around the Isle of Skye. Breakfast was fab too! We stayed in the manse house and had a large room with double aspect. Great bathroom. Shower was amazing!

Hotel was really nice we booked last minute and the views near by are amazing Gent on reception/bar/kitchen was really polite and helpful as he was there on his own because of holiday season Internet was down due to a bad storm that made the stay more remote as civilisation and home comforts were almost 1.5 hours away Don’t let that put you off when fully staffed and WiFi working I can only imagine the stay would be even better

Price was reasonable for Skye. Warm, cozy, loved every minute!

I cannot recommend this bed and breakfast enough!! The hostess Gail could not do enough for us and was so very welcoming. The views from bedroom 2 are to die for and I’d really recommend booking that room. The breakfast was fabulous with a variety of English and Scottish items, including haggis which was extremely tasty. Very well presented property, stunning surroundings. Communication from the owner was very poor, no response to any messages prior to my stay and I had to ring to find out which cabin I was stopping in and how to collect my keys. This was by far the most expensive accommodation I’ve booked while working in and around the whole of Scotland for the last 3 year and I would have expected the check in to be flawless for the price paid.
