"A homely and welcoming colonial-era hotel that has been maintained in excellent condition. A comfortable base for Shimla with good food, good service, and extremely attentive staff. The owners live on-site and are pleased to meet and greet their guests. Would recommend strongly."

"Excellent place to stay and Near to Mall Road"

"Location,property ,service and food."

"This is a very nice resort hotel with beautiful views over the hills. Ideally situated within 10 min walk to the main Mall plaza. I recommend this resort, and would gladly come again in the future."

"Friendly and helpful staff, nice atmosphere"

"Access to the mall is the only plus. Furnishings in the rooms are outdated and dirty. I never sat in a sofa before that has no back cushions to support you. No convenient electrical outlets to plug electronics or bedside medical devices like CPAP. Breakfast is same old average tasting buffet. No parking. You may get locked out if you are a late night player. Turns absolutely dark at night even the walkways and stairwells to the rooms, so keep a flashlight on hand. I give 2-3 stars, only for the...

"Please take into account I was a foreign tourist. The plus's are the service was good and the tea was excellent. The negatives are the building and grounds pictured in the listing are no longer in use. They are being replaced with a completely new hotel which is under construction. "Good place to stay and food"

"Toshali Royal a great host, everything during our stay was perfect. The rooms are spacious, food at the restaurant is fresh and taste good. I must say the staff really knows how to host their guest, all of them are courteous and helpful. Parking can be inconvenient at locations where they are located, but parking staff ensures there are no issues and efficiently handles the parking of your vehicle."

"Best hotel to stay in Kufri. Location is perfect. Food is a bit expensive but taste is good. Overall a good experience."
