I'm sure there are more luxurious lodges but this place is more than luxurious enough for 'normal' travellers. Most importantly all the rooms have aircon that works! All the staff were super friendly and service and food was top notch. Dean was a brilliant Ranger, really knowledgeable, and very entertaining and a big thanks to Dani as well for looking after us. We will be recommending Xanatseni to all our friends.

Beautiful hotel with stunning rooms and real sense of luxury. The pool and grounds are so tranquil and calm and everything is immaculate The staff are attentive and professional and the setting is beautiful with giraffe and zebra roaming around - so lovely. Real bush experience can spot leopards relatively easily, lovely options for activities in terms of game drives in other private reserves and activities like star gazing tours. Lovely place, lovely staff and the owner goes out of her way to accommodate all requirements.

Wonderful place, Rangers, trackers and staff. Excellent food in terms of quality and choice and lovely wines / beers. Loved every minute and would love to return again. Been to other ( more expensive) camps in the area and this one is much more relaxed and enjoyable.

Lovely rooms, nice communal areas, helpful staff and a delicious breakfast by the pool. Great for a stop over or longer. They recommended a driver called Peter who took us on to our main destination in Sabi Sands. He was excellent and really good company for the drive.

WOW! What a fantastic experience. This is a small slice of Paradise in the African bush near Kruger National Park. The setting is absolutely perfect and there are only 4 chalets so it is exceptionally exclusive and very special. We spent a really nice evening staying at the Lodge. The property is in excellent condition and really well kepy. Staff were extremely helpful and the food and service were great.

Our bedroom quiet with a nice mountain view from our terrace. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The reception and restaurant staff that we met were helpful and friendly. There were landscaped gardens throughout the hotel plus plenty of parking.

Only stayed one night coming back from our stay in Kruger but as soon as we got there we realised we should have booked for two. There are loads of things to do in the area that we were interested in and on site there were walks we could have taken surrounded by nature. The location is beautiful and even just outside the bedroom you see deer and a warthog or two. Absolutely amazing stay - a beautiful setting, amazing staff than go above and beyond, fantastic rooms, and unbelievable safari drives with knowledge and super friendly guides. 10/10 experience, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone!

We spent one night at Mohlabetsi two years ago on a 7 day trip round South Africa. My family didn't want to leave but we always had in our minds to return to this very special place. This time we booked for 3 nights and it was absolutely wonderful. The people, the safari, the animals, the food, the lodges are just perfect. Mohlabetsi will always hold a very special place in all my family's hearts and will definitely go back again one day. I recommend this lodge to anyone!
