We were only there for one night and their restaurant was busy for Mothering Sunday, but they fit us in and all the food was great. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. This inn is tucked into a small space on a narrow one-way street; there is free parking available but not at the inn. We parked in a small alley to unload luggage and had to move the car. There is no elevator. The building is old but the rooms were nice with adequate space and updated plumbing. It compares favorably with other small, quaint inns we have encountered on our trip. It is a ten minute drive to Glamis Castle which was our sole reason for being in Kirriemuir.

Great service and food and a really nice, large, room. Only small niggle was the only mirror was nowhere near a power supply. This should be moved to the opposite wall near a socket so the hair dryer can be used in front of it.

This was a last minute decision to stay in Kirriemuir for the night and we’re glad we did. Very comfortable hotel. Good beer good food good service from polite and friendly staff. Would stay again.

No free parking nearby as advertised - the check in person said to park in a pay and display lot across the street. I had to leave before 8:30 so I don't get a ticket. No wifi in the room, but that was to be expected.

Parking is a big problem. Hotel has none. Many rooms updated but we had one of the old ones. Bed was only a double and too soft. Carpet was scruffy. Excellent breakfast. Courteous and helpful staff. We parked in the nearby funeral home.

Warm welcome to equestrian riders.
Hotel staff welcoming and restaurant waitress very helpful. When we were not able to wait for breakfast sandwiches were provided.
