Beautiful part of the country






We stayed at the Kings Head last weekend and had a lovely time. The pub itself is gorgeous, decorated beautifully, it is cosy and inviting and located in a lovely spot by the stream.Although the actual car park itself was small this was no problem as we parked literally a couple of minutes away on ...

We stayed in Olive 3, which has a jacuzzi double bath, steam room, sauna and shower! Beautiful! We used the spa which was lovely peaceful and clean. The restaurant staff, service and food is excellent and this is about our 10th visit. We love the place and staff.

The room and staff were fine but we had no hot water for about 16 hours and had to use another apartment to shower which was not great.

Beautiful part of the country
Not much in kirkby steven , good indian , but everywhere else to eat was fully booked
Excellent Chinese restaurant, and small cafes, fish and chip shop passable
Went for a function so didn't get much time for sight seeing but would love to return for a good look around. Lovely area
Enjoyed our dinner at the King's Head about 2 miles from Tranna Hill.
Lots of walking. Really nice quiet village.
