"I was only there a night but used kitchen facilities shower etc all seemed clean and working. I really feel the cold so delighted to find heater in my room if I needed it. Denise was welcoming when I arrived and checked in the next morning with everyone in dining room to check things ok . "
"What a tasteful yet homely pub stay!
There was poor comunication between expedia and kings Head regards the number of people in our party for the room!
But staff did all in their power to compensate and make us comfortable!!
Will certainly go back and will give an excellent score.
Loved the food and everything about it!!
Only downside is - food stops at 8pm.
But they do ptovide a cold platter after this time that's delicious!

"Very nice stay. Great experience, very comfortable, and good size of a family of four. Very good location. Lots of places to see in the area. Very nice welcome pack. Thanks. "
"Our stay at the New Inn 1730 was only overnight, and we arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. This is a welcoming & friendly pub, with restaurant and accommodation. "The room was lovely and spacious. There was no view outbof the window as the hotel is being extended.
The staff were helpful and did everything they could to make our stay as pleasant and comfortable as they could.
Helen and Chloe were particularly good and always made us feel welcome.
