Good option if you need a quiet place to stay and do not care for luxury. It is a dorm. The room is clean. The towels are really rough. You might want to bring your own. There is a mid size fridge in the room. Note, parking is extra 8$ per day.

Was perfect for what we needed. We were not there for the room it was just a place for our stuff and to sleep. We brought pillows and blankets which was good cause we needed both but otherwise all was good.

The room was basic but clean and comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. The staff were very friendly. I would stay there again if I was in the area.

It is a dorm. Nothing good or bad. It is what you pay for. Free parking on the weekend was nice.

Thank you for your feedback, We understand the importance of coffee first thing in the morning and will be looking into providing a solution for that with out guest. unfortunately a coffee pot in each room is not feasible for us, we would have to store all 400+ of them somewhere while our students are here however we are considering an option in the lobby our lounge during our summer accommodations season

The first room we were shown wasn’t clean - there was blood on the floor. The second room was ok. It’s a bit dated but acceptable for what we paid. One microwave in the building but no other cooking facilities. Got kept awake the second night by slamming doors and told “it’s probably students who are still staying here”. Laundry is available but it’s minimum $10 for a card and a wash and dry cycle on costs $3.75 total. Overall a bit disappointing.

Good value for the money
It is a no-frills experience, but great value for your money considering how expensive hotels are in Kingston. The bed was very comfortable, though strangely very high from the floor. There were toiletries and clean towels, and the room is quite spacious. It is a quick taxi to downtown, or you can take a 20-minute bus ride. Probably your best option for a comfy and budget friendly overnight stay.

Might not have been all I could have wanted (I.e. shower but no tub, no light over bed to read by) but it was all that I needed at an affordable price. I would definitely stay there again. Would make sure I took my sneakers so that I could have had a comfortable walk around the beautiful grounds.

We stayed here for a couple a nights while visiting friends. The room was very clean, definitely was a dorm room. But we enjoyed having a fridge to store stuff. No TV for the kids but they survived. Everyone was very friendly and super helpful. It was a cheap and cheerful vacation. We did wish parking was included though, would be a nice perk.

Worthwhile for the price
Booked 3 rooms. Two were fine. Third: (a) the air-conditioning circuit-breaker kept shutting it off, and that woke me up twice at night in order to reset it; (b) the toilet flush kept flushing every 15 mins, which is also why I needed the AC to work continuously to drown out the sound. Otherwise, room was clean, bedding was good. Plastic cover enclosed pillow was tolerable.
