Firstly a thank you to the manager who drove me to the shops to get a Jamaican SIM card. Otherwise the place was super disappointing. Got there late (about 11 pm) and the place was in darkness despite messaging then the week before to let them know. Had to basically kick in the gate to get in. Service here was poor and unfriendly. Room was second rate. Air con was like a jet engine taking off. Staff were very cold and unfriendly. Stayed for 3 nights. Area around hotel was not somewhere that I felt safe walking around which is what I like to do. The hotel did the job for my arrival to use as a first base to work out what and where I want to do and go in Jamaica.
