"The Litcham Bull Inn was absolutely perfect for our overnight stay. The room was basic, but clean and comfortable and had a good hot shower. Dinner was wonderful- delicious comfort food in a cosy pub atmosphere. Do not skip pudding; they are generous with the custard which we love! I wish we had had more time to linger over a glass of wine. Sue, the owner and host, was extremely kind and helpful. We had a short window to eat dinner before heading to a nearby concert, and she allowed us to pre-order our meals so they were ready upon our arrival. And when she heard we had to depart early in the AM, she packed a go-bag of sandwiches, fruit, water and crisps for us in place of the cooked breakfast that we didn’t have time for. We really appreciated this when we were on our train at 6:45 AM! Lovely pub with great food and service and a good room, too. Thank you, Sue and team! "

"The room was comfortable and the staff were pleasant and professional, however I was left wanting for breakfast. It had the standard cereal and pastries but the cooked breakfast only had sausage, bacon, scrambled egg and beans"

"Although the hotel has the status Manor it was a bit tired in some areas. The breakfast area needed to be stocked up a few times and ran out of a couple of things. Staff mainly helpful and friendly Ordered food from the lunchtime menu when we arrived and the prawns in our food were a bit hard and the pasta was not linguine it was tagliatelle. Arrived back not too late from our party and the hotel bar was shut "

"Spa, room and staff all fantastic. We had a meal in the pub (Indian night) and was very disappointed, reminded me of a poor flavoured homemade meal, really not what i expected. Breakfast in the morning was great in every way. Would recommend, just not for the Indian. "

"We were disappointed to find that breakfast was not included in the price and so we had to pay an additional charge for breakfasts for our two night stay. The meal we had at the pub in the first night was mediocre at best. We ordered one of the 'specials' , which we thought would be good. It was a pie that had been microwaved and so instead of a crisp pastry crust was more like elastic."
