"Lots of traffic sounds in room"

"Our room specifically was left a bit unclean, with floors dirty and one trash can not emptied when we arrived. Other than that, the bathroom and most areas were actually quite clean. Staff was excellent and helpful, especially the morning breakfast crew. Location seems like it would be noisy due to highway proximity, but the way the building is positioned makes it relatively quiet."

"Rooms were clean and comfortable, location is great for downtown access and Newberry College. Building and interior is a bit older/tired, but upkeep seems good overall."

"The TV Remote did not work. When turning on the shower on, the shower head had water shoot out of the connection from the hose to the shower head."

"Breakfast was not a buffet - just a glorified continental with a waffle maker. The door locks didn’t work and had to be replaced (still didn’t work with the card keys even after it was replaced). The shower leaked the entire time we were there. Location was near a train track so don’t expect much sleep without earplugs. The walls are paper thin, we could hear our neighbors using the restroom often. And the bed frame sounded like a file cabinet when you rolled over. There were light blocking blinds but the light went around them so bring a sleep mask. On the plus side, the AC worked, the staff was mostly helpful, and the mini-fridge was quite good. Overall, the location was not the best and it felt quite run-down for a “quality inn”. Despite the cheaper price, I would not recommend this over a motel 6 or equivalent."
