We paid $2,700 for what was clearly sold to us as a 3-day tour, but after payment it was suddenly reduced to only 2 days with no proper explanation or refund. From having a mess in 1 room since they were building a bed, no toiletries at all as mentioned, Water was not working properly; lights went off in 1 room and the ac and water not working in another. Then went in total darkness with no back-up generator available and we were told it happens all the time. Staff was hard to find even with a 'reception' area. All around a horrible experience. "I’m happy to strongly recommend Terry’s Villa to anyone traveling to Nungwi. I stayed there with my family, and we had a spectacular experience from start to finish. The villa itself was clean, spacious, and very comfortable — especially appreciated after long days exploring Zanzibar’s beautiful beaches.
