"We stayed in the Eagle Lodge! It’s in a great location to ski hill. It was clean, comfortable and plenty big for 10 of us. It’s well kept, a little dated but in a good way giving it a nostalgic mountain feel. The wood fire place was the cherry on top! Can’t wait to stay there again."

"This is a great place to stop for a night in Golden. Our room was very clean, and the beds are decent. The hotel is older, and shows its age somewhat, but our room was updated and made for a comfortable stay. The pool, water slide, hot tub, and sauna are always a hit! "

"Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was adequate. If you have time, visit the historic downtown area with a walking trail that crosses the Kicking Horse River via the pedestrian wood-framed covered bridge."

"For the price and location absolutely no complaints - stayed 2 nights in 2 different rooms (after deciding to stay an extra night - probably the only complaint was no one was around in the morning to extend the stay, so made another booking online). Both the king and double queen rooms were on the mark. Clean and sufficent for a place to stay while skiing kicking horse."

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and looked like it was newly renovated. The beds were comfortable. The heating in the room was great and warmed up quickly. The water pressure in the shower was great as were the towels and bath products. Breakfast was provided but located at a sister hotel across the road. We ate our own food so it wasn't a huge inconvenience. Overall a great place and the price was very reasonable."
