"We had booked a deluxe suit for Rs. X/night, on arrival we told there is no air conditioning in the allocated room, only a small fan (on a day the temp was 37 degree C). I made a request for A/C & they charged additional Rs. X again (2Xs) for a Maharaja Suit. While there was A/c, it was very ineffective & the suit was a dump, in need for major reno & deco (door timber split, ceiling with stains & bath marble piece with rust & elegy. Also real rip offs selling desert activities (big thieves). Future guests make alternate arrangements, do not depend on this resort. "

"We spent two nights at the camp with our adult college age kids and it was a fantastic experience. The service was extraordinary as owner Jaswant went out of his way to ensure we were well looked after. Further, the camp was as not overrun by westerners as most tourists were Indian. We enjoyed the camel ride and dune sunset, as well as the evening food and entertainment. This was a highlight of our trip. "

"The Sonal Desert Camp was an exceptional experience. We stayed one night as a part of our family trip to India, and all 8 of us loved this peaceful reprieve from the bustle of India. The accommodations were clean and comfortable by western standards, the food was tasty, the cultural performance was lovely and the hospitality was genuine. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. I’m particularly grateful that they were able to bring my elderly parents to the dunes to meet us for sunset. We had taken a camel ride to the dunes. Unfortunately we were too tired to go on the night excursions to the desert. "

"Swiss tent stay was good however bath area was a bit problematic...we paid 15 k per night almost and still the shower wasn't worst all..had to take bath in desi style using balti and mug. The tent provided had issues with curtains"

"The stay was so calm and comfortable at the camps. The night show and the arrangement were up to the mark. They serve good Rajasthani food dishes in variety. All are good and the best in all service to make clean and clear. "
