Was easy for me to get twisted around with all the different footpaths, but people will help when you ask. Typical Thailand, so kind. 🙏🙏"

"Was an enjoyable stay. Property is divided into a beachfront area with pools and restaurants and the actual lodging area on the other side of the road. There’s a pedestrian tunnel that goes under the road. Our lodgings were a decent walk from the beachfront. Would have been a little difficult for anyone with mobility issues. They provide a shuttle service but that can be unreliable at certain times of the day though. Overall would still recommend though. Family enjoyed the beach a lot. "

"We had a wonderful time at Layana. The transportation from Krabi airport was very much appreciated. It was very hot in Thailand while we were there and the pool was great, we spent hours around it and in it. We rented a scooter to drive around the island, Traffic was limited and we felt safe driving them around the island, Layana recommended the Turtle Beach resort for dinner and it was very good. Our room was very large"

"This was an amazing experience and a wonderful peaceful resort. From the moment we checked in until check out. We were there for our 20th anniversary and they upgraded us to an amazing private villa with our own private plunge pool and bathroom all outside. I can’t think of anything that was terrible. "We stayed here for five nights in two different rooms. The grounds of the hotel are lovely, well maintained and with a semi private beach. This hotel is a bit out of the way but if you are looking for a quite laid back spot this is it. My one and only complaint would be the beds, they were really hard!!! "

"Great place to stay on a quick return journey to Koh Lanta. Had been to the hotel many times before, but never to stay as a guest. Room was a good size, well equipped and clean. Balcony was very nice and had a great view of the sunset. Wifi was strong, if that’s your thing. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Overall it’s a lovely hotel and has a great location. Well worth a visit "

"Great little resort nestled away down a dirt track on this quiet island. Perfect to escape the crowds and make time to explore the rest of the island to experience how most of Thailand was 25 years ago. Dinner on the beach every night was great. "Staff were amazing really looked after us all as a family. Tuk tuk available to book. Not near anything at all in the middle of nowhere with no shops. Need to pay 200baht via tuk tuk then 100baht to cross the water in day 200 after 7pm to get to krabi market's town which was amazing. Pool on site is lovely, few chairs need replacing. Breakfast is fantastic and good choices. Greeting to resort was the best ive ever had. Would revisit but only for a couple of days as its so remote."
