"Everything was amazing. Perfect service: very helpful staff. Breakfast very good buffet style. Only bathroom door are clearly visible through the glass window in it so very uncomfortable when you travel with friends. I need to say that everything was perfect but I just would never book it again because of that bathroom doors."

"Though I checked in late at night, I was surprised to see the south gate so close to my window in the following morning. Due to lack of English signs in general in Khiva, I still got lost to some extent. But the clear location of this hotel somehow helped me go back to the hotel after the tour. "

"We were told the hotel is rated #2 in town, but it didn’t feel like it. Outside of old city, but walkable distance- about 10 min walk. I would rather stay inside the old town If we go next time. Also, mattresses are just too too hard ! Otherwise lovely stay - clean, safe and extremely friendly."

"Malika Kheivak is not a luxury hotel but I'm not sure there are any in Khiva. Considering what is available and most importantly the location, Malika Kheivak is an excellent choice. It is inside the old town walls and so everything is nearby. It is great if you need to go back and use the toilet while you're exploring the town! The hotel is slightly more expensive than the beautiful boutique B&Bs in Bukhara for example, but that is simply because of the lack of choice in Khiva. We had an...
