He knows all the best spots to go and has access to some of the best restaurants on the island. On top of this the hotel was modern, clean and the restaurants food was incredible. "This hotel was unbelievable. Probably the best hotel we have stayed in to date - it was so luxurious and at great value. It is so modern and clean, with very friendly staff. Key highlights include the view from the rooms, the pool and the staff."

"Great view from room, but this hotel charged for every little thing, including water for the room, pool tables in lounge, other games for kids, hotel shuttle to/from town. Need to leave a deposit in order to charge to the room at all. Overcharging for room service. Only one restaurant open at a time. Lights that wouldn't turn off in one room - staff solved the problem by cutting the wire to the light altogether. Not all that many options for hotels on Cat Ba, so this looked good comparatively, but it did not live up to the rating. "
