Goodwin House was an excellent place to stay with convenient access to many beautiful walking trails and situated in the quaint town of Keswick. Liz and Chris are extremely kind and hospitable, the breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

A delight In Keswick

We had an excellent stay here. We were welcomed and checked in quickly. The room was lovely and clean as was the bathroom. The beds were really comfy. Facilities in the room excellent. There was everything you needed and more. Breakfast was delicious. Cooked to order and choice amazing. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Fabulous b&b in lovely Keswick

This was a last minute booking due to the fabulous weather forecast and it did not disappoint. Lovely welcome our room was spotlessly clean very comfy with everything we needed for a relaxed 2 night stay. Close to the centre of lovely Keswick some great walk. Breakfast was fabulous too.

Cosy rooms with modern bathrooms and set in a perfect location (only a short walk from the centre of Keswick). Felt very welcomed on arrival and throughout. Plenty of options for breakfast and set us up perfect for a days mountain biking. Thanks Liz and Chris for having us!

An excellent Keswick Guesthouse

This is a great guesthouse in the centre of Keswick, an ideal location with access to all the walks direct from the doorstep. I had an excellent stay with the highlights being a friendly and attentive host, super clean room with a comfortable bed (big plus after a day out walking) and an awesome breakfast with loads of options. Highly recommend if you’re looking at visiting the area :)

Excellent, high quality B&B. The welcome and check-in set the tone for a first class visit. Our room was spacious, immaculate and comfortable. The breakfast choice was great, really liked the option to have a lighter avocado on sourdough as a change from the full English, which was also lovely! Thank you, we will definitely be back!!

Liz & Chris both welcomed me upon arrival. The guest house is conveniently located in the town centre and is in a quiet residential area (I couldn't believe how quiet it was, given the location). My room was well suited for my two night stay, with a small and modern looking en-suite shower room. The guest house provided a drying room for any wet clothing and muddy boots. Liz was very knowledgeable about the area and provided me with useful tips for getting around the town and down to Derwent Water. On offer for breakfast were cereals or porridge, but I opted for the full English which you can select from a menu the night before. Cooked to perfection!! In addition, I took the packed lunch that was on offer, useful for my days' walking. This was charged extra and even included a slice of homemade cake (delicious!!) I would stay here again if returning to Keswick and I highly recommend the guest house. Liz and Chris being perfect hosts.

Immaculately clean and tidy in all areas. Food was excellent, fresh and locally sourced Proprietors were very friendly and helpful. Downside was availability of parking- had to find onstreet.
