"Lovely rooms for a short stay in Folkestone and a fantastic breakfast. Only small comment would be that in the summer when the day starts really early, the shutters don't really block the light so we were not able to have much of a lie in - although this is personal preference and only a small comment on an otherwise lovely stay."
"A quiet and clean hotel where guests are made very welcome. Locstion is nice and close to the city center.
I understand that the hotel is taken over by another owner not too long ago, so there is some work to do to make it even nicer.
I hope to return here in the future."

"Was dissatisfied that you no longer accepted cash I’m 68 and don’t use a card I had to use my savings card surely it should be optional 😩😩 therefore it restricted 🚫 what I could buy 😳😳 when we arrived we were given a room number 0140 and in the bathroom there was puddles and mould on the floor I went downstairs and explained to David who PROMPTLY found us another room 259 it was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds I didn’t want to use my card so I was restricted we were made very welcome the breakfast was hot and tasty the Sunday lunch was beef or gammon thats day I had the beef it was so so tasty and the vegetables were cooked perfectly and the staff were polite and we enjoyed our stay there was lots to do around the area and the Harbour Arm was brilliant and the local pubs were very welcoming and not overpriced 😁😁😁 and ACCEPTED CASH "
"I would like to highly recommend the rooms, and I found the fan in the room to be a wonderful addition. The room was clean, spacious, and featured a comfortable bed and sofa, along with a large television. It provided everything necessary for a truly pleasant stay. Thank you very much."

"Hotel is right on the Leas and does have a view over the Channel. Lovely walk down to the harbour arm and old town. Train station 15 minutes away. Folkestone is a great place to visit. Highly recommend"
"Hotel refurbished and updated to a very high standard. We were impressed at the cleanliness and eco-awareness at the hotel, together with helpful and attentive staff.
This was an all-too-short but very memorable stay."
"My stay through Hotels.com was lovely. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the owner, Mike, who personally showed me to my room and handed me the keys. He was gracious, kind, and quick to respond to any questions—something I truly appreciate when traveling. His yard is beautifully kept, with lush greenery and blooming flowers that offer a peaceful spot to enjoy a cup of tea or quietly plan the day ahead. There’s a calm, welcoming atmosphere that makes the space feel cared for. The pricing was very reasonable for what was offered. I’d absolutely stay again."
