"Lovely stay with massive breakfast"

"This is a cracking flat within a short walk of Dumfries town centre. From the outside, the flats don’t look too inspiring, but it’s clearly been renovated recently and it’s been done really nicely. The two rooms are pretty much identical doubles, and the living room/kitchen is a good size. Nice views of the river from most rooms, and a lovely small balcony coming off the main living area. Would definitely come back if in the area."

"Very friendly staff but the hotel looks and feels tired."

"Cheap and basic-really friendly receptionist decent tea and coffee etc- just a bit dated but at price we paid I was happy enough - clean sheets and towels and quiet"
