"Stayed two nights and was very impressed. Greeted in reception by a Kandyan dancer which is a nice touch and a great photo opportunity. Staff on reception very welcoming and efficient. "The picture is from when they build the place, today is terrible. Pool was so dirty and they don’t know how to use chemicals to get it clear. The bathroom had mold/fungus growing, sink was blocked showerhead could almost not give any water. "Wonderful room two doors away from where Queen Elizabeth stayed. Fabulous little infinity pool and only two of us in there. Stunning view with sundowners on the terrace spoilt by terrorist monkey determined to steal something off our table. Enormous curry with enough dishes to feed at least 3 adults!"

"Poor location. Manager speaks no English. The rooms he gave us were not ready -- no electricity. Contrary to the ads, there is no wifi or breakfast. The good news is that the owner agreed to drop one night of our reservation as well as reducing the price"

"Location is good. Lots of ants and insects in the room. Host was welcoming. But be aware of food cost. Ask price before ordering. We order seafood dinner for three. He made combination of fish, calamari, tiny crabs and few shrimp and charged 50 dollars(water for drink). We paid as we did not ask before eating. Then he came back and ask 800 rupees for driver’s break fast. We paid. A minute later he came for driver’s accommodation cost. At that point we said, NO. We stayed 2 weeks in Sri Lanka....
