"We were so pleased with our stay at Steris Elegant Beach Hotel! We arrived past midnight on our first day because of a delayed flight and the staff, especially Dino, was so welcoming and helpful, which was a great start to our stay. We loved having the beach right out front of our hotel, and the beach service with chairs, umbrellas, food and drinks was fantastic. "Beautiful, clean spacious hotel, if you're looking for quality food high end restaurant and fine dining this is the best choice hotel, set in a great location, right on the beach, choice of villas and apartments with private pool, or room with a swim up pool, or just room without pool. Staff are brilliant, speak excellent English, such wonderful helpful staff, first time to Crete and would definitely return to this Crete and this hotel. Grecotel has its own farm which is included in the package, great trip to see how they produce local olive oil, honey, they provide you with many courses during the visit with delicious food and wine. The beds in the hotel and pillows are so comfortable, the rooms are spotless and room service every day, you have a fridge in your room which is replenished every day with soft drinks, tea and coffee facilities, beach towel and bath towels changed daily. Bathrobes and slippers are provided. The drinks available are branded and good quality, staff behind the bar are efficient as are the staff around the pool, offering you drinks and snacks when required. Young children's pool and activities which is all shaded, 2 main pools with plenty of shade and sunbeds, some in the water which is a lovely treat. Reception staff are very knowledgeable and so helpful, they want to please. Gym and sauna available onsite which looked modern, nice shop onsite The main dining room which is self serve had choice and great quality. Perfect All inclusive"

"Beautiful luxury hotel with a perfect location, and intimate settings. Nice rooms and amenities. Excellent service everywhere, very efficient at the pool and beach bars. Very good breakfast, upscale buffet. Terrific a-la-carte restaurants with exceptional staff. Nice spa and excellent massages (Maria and George). Only one downside : a very slow check-in process. Highly recommended."

"My kids really enjoyed the pools but I feel that being 4 and 6 were too young for the Aquapark. We booked online a bungalow room but it was in reality a room. The first two days the bedsheets of our king size bed were too small for the mattress size. The dirty glasses and cups in the room were rinsed not changed, so we started to use the paper ones. We had to asked several times for a bathroom mat for the shower. Staff was friendly and food of the restaurants was excellent. On the other hand, the buffets were OK."

The staff were superb throughout our stay, genuinely friendly, attentive, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Perfect for couples looking for a peaceful and relaxing resort, with plenty of space to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. The location is also ideal, with lovely local restaurants and bars within easy reach. If you’re looking for something livelier, the nearest busy town is only around 4 miles away, and the hotel is more than happy to arrange a taxi for you. A wonderful stay all round and somewhere we would happily return to."
