Incredible value for off season rate in late March that included an multi course , visually beautiful Japanese Kaiseki dinner and breakfast made of thebfreshest, delicious ingredients and served by a delightful diningroom staff. We were the only Western tourists there, but the reception staff know enough English to graciously assist you. They were kind enough to check us in 45 minutes early on a rainy day, without an extra fee. The onsen attendants didn't speak...

"Lovely hotel, the breakfast and dinner were wonderful experiences. Large rooms with seaview. Onsens both inside and outside. We had a rental car and travelled around. We also visited Kagoshima by train. We also enjoyed the shochu buffet at the hotel."
