"The host Nino is the best! He was so helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay welcome and also took us to interesting places. He helped us book all our excursions, to Mount Ijen. He took us around town and we got to see places off the tourist path! He also cooks food with his family nearby, and was willing to feed us at any time! "Base to see sights of Banyuwangi. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the Indonesian breakfast was ample. Car required for this location. There is a shop across it that does general provisions and simple meals. Also went out of their way to purchase meals from outside. The room I booked did not have the advertised mountain view, and the shower room lacked a sink. "

"This was a convenient place to overnight between Bromo and Bali. The grounds are huge and decorated with beautiful sculptures, and the pool area was large and nicely done. The rooms were fine, but the bathrooms were very dirty- everything needed a good scrubbing, and our bathtub had around 10 dead insects in it when we arrived. "
