Kahana Beach Vacation Club
10/10 Excellent
"The beach was beautiful. Beachfront and Oceanfront. Great value for your money. Fantastic for relaxing with a great view. Snorkeling opportunities right on the rocks. Saw fish and turtles. Had an oceanfront studio and had a great view! Saw whales in the distance breaching and playing. So serene. Room was cleaner and gorgeous! Very happy with this ch location. 45 minutes - 1 hour from airport depending on traffic. Right up the street from whalers village. Maybe about 2 miles. The rooms have stove, microwave, toaster, shampoo body wash, soap. Dish sponge and soap. Towels and beach towels provided. It’s a timeshare building but we booked our stay and it was great! "
"We were on the ground level, which gave us quick access to the pools and boardwalk. We didn’t have a great view due to being on the ground level, but we loved the convenience. Pools were great and the staff friendly and professional. Will go back for sure. "
"We loved this resort! The staff were very friendly and accommodating when we had to switch rooms (we booked the wrong one). From our room, we had a view of the ocean and the beach assess what great and easy to find! "
"Location of hotel is really good close to whalers village but having good grounds where there are plenty of sunbeds offering shade or sun. Hotel is very clean and staff are so so friendly and helpful. Car parking on site and resort fees are a little high."
"Overall, we loved the pool and the property and had a good stay. We had a couple of issues with the room upon check-in. Our first room had a “rat zapper” trap in the closet, which was a complete turn off. My thought is there must be a rat in the room so the front desk moved us to a new room. Both rooms were marginally clean. The property is in need of a The property is in need of an update but is definitely not the worst I’ve seen. The sheets on the bed would not stay on. The fitted sheet kept popping off at the corners, making it a very uncomfortable night’s sleep. For the value of what we paid, these improvements would be nicely needed. Also, the hallways are not air-conditioned so stepping out of an air-conditioned room into a very hot, stuffy hallway with other people‘s food smells and trash was not pleasant. For this high end of a resort, we would expect to open hallways or air-conditioning."
"The bungalow we stayed in was perfect. Walking distance from the beach/pool and very clean. I highly recommend the resort. Beautiful beach, crystal clear water and you can run into a turtle once in a while. Sunset views were excellent. My family and I had an unforgettable time and were very happy with the resort staff. Proximity to Whalers Village was prime as it gave us something different for food and some shopping."
