"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. "We had a great stay here - house was beautiful and well equipped and the remoteness and private pool were great for a relaxing stay in Crete. While you are about 20 mins outside of Chania it served as a good base for all of the western beaches and attractions while still close enough to Chania for dinners and exploring.
