Snorkel the calm waters of Kahana Bay where sea turtles often glide beneath the surface near coral formations. Hike the nearby trails in West Maui Forest Reserve for panoramic views of Maui's coastline and neighbouring islands.
We recently stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacations in Kaanapali. The rooms were spacious, but definitely felt outdated. The shower was a bit tricky to operate, and the kitchen lacked a hob, which made self-cooking quite challenging. Unfortunately, on our last day, we found a cockroach in the kitchen, which was disappointing.

We were delighted to receive an upgrade from studio with kitchen to a suite with full kitchen facilities. The two pools, one overlooking the beach, were clean and very relaxing but it wasn't possible to sit on the beach in front of the hotel. The hula show was great and there was a special celebration for Chinese New Year, both were very entertaining. We were lucky enough to see the whales not far out to see right in front of the hotel, beautiful! It would be a lovely hotel for families.

We stayed in the hotel for 10 nights for our honeymoon. The hotel was really nice and the rooms had everything you could hope for. The location is slightly out of the way but easily accessible with a short taxi ride.

We booked this hotel to stay in for a famoly wedding in Maui. We were looking for somewhere at a reaonable price on Napili Bay - friends and family were all staying in Napili Bay at various hotels so we got to compare a few places. We were really surprised at how great this hotel was. The condo facilities were excellent and allowed us to cook and eat in when we wanted. There was a great snack bar right on the beach which served amazing breakfast (be warned though - it's very popular so you have...

Loved this place - if your into resorts you wont but if you like low key friendly family run then you will. I booked the lead in room which is a studio over the pool - but was able to upgrade 2/3 nights when I go there - wish i had booked the beach front initially - they are fabulous with uninterrupted ocean views and great breeze through in the heat. Loved this hotel and will come back for a week next time.
