"Stayed one night for a nearby family event. No restaurant open so had to get our own food in town and no cable. But for a one night stay it was fine. Property was clean but outdated."

"We stayed in the Dome and had a fantastic weekend.
The Dome is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Harsha our host went out of her way to make our stay as pleasant and special as possible.
The hotel is in a beautiful location near lots of nice restaurants and hiking trails. As a bonus lots of very tame deer like to walk around the hotel which is great for photo opportunities. We will definitely return here!"
"The Sir Sam’s inn is a charming lakefront property on Eagle Lake.
While the rooms and inn itself were a little dated, this didn’t bother us much at all. We opted to stay in the inn itself rather than the suites and it was nice to be located inside the main building. The rooms don’t have air conditioning, however the ceiling and swivelling fan made the rooms comfortable enough to sleep. You do get a nice breeze from the lake at night!
The amenities (paddle boards, kayak and boat tour) were all free and added to the overall experience of the inn.
The restaurant option has daily specials to choose from, however it is a bit on the pricey side. I would have liked a few more basic options but I understand what they are trying to achieve with the dining experience.
The staff were all great, helpful and knowledgeable of the area.
We will return for a trip again in the future!"
"My husband and I stayed in one of the luxury tents at Dwight Riverside Inn from July 8–10 as a surprise birthday getaway, and we had an amazing experience.
We were looking for a peaceful escape surrounded by nature, and this was exactly what we found. Dan, the owner, welcomed us warmly, made check-in quick and easy, and provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and the best places to visit in Algonquin Park, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
The tent was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a cozy bed, a hot shower, a private bathroom, and a lovely deck where we enjoyed our morning coffee. I had expected mosquitoes to be an issue, but the tent was very well sealed with screened windows and a mosquito net around the bed, so we didn't have any problems.
One of our favorite parts of the stay was waking up to the sound of birds each morning and listening to them again in the evening. Even though we had one rainy day, we still enjoyed relaxing in the tent. We didn't get to use the barbecue or fire pit, but that just gives us another reason to come back.
If you're looking for a glamping experience that combines nature with comfort, this is the perfect place. Thank you, Dan, for your wonderful hospitality and for helping make my husband's birthday getaway so memorable. We highly recommend Dwight Riverside Inn and would gladly stay here again."
"We only stayed one night as a stop on a journey. We were pleasantly surprised that a continental breakfast was included although we did not use it as we had other breakfast plans.
The room was clean but a bit dated. They did note they were in the midst of a renovation so I am sure things will be great when that is done. The deodorizer they sprayed was a bit too pungent but I noted that to them.
All in all a fine stay."
"Property was beautiful and well maintained. Dockside restaurant and breakfast were delicious. Brought two young kids and they were entertained for several days with the beach, boat rentals, games on site."
