"We stayed in the big cottage with a view of the water. It was clean and tidy and the location was amazing. The air conditioning was very welcome, and the kitchen was useful. Beds/chairs/sofa were comfortable. The cottage is a little rickety, with a sloping floor. But it was a fun, nostalgic vibe. A bit pricey for what it was, in my opinion. Swimming off the shore/dock was very pleasant."
"This is a nice place for a gettaway and if you have kids even better. The beach is very nice. Not crowed and the water is sublime. You can wade out 100 feet or more and the water is at your waste or lower. The Kayaks and Canoes are nice to have. I went out most days in a Kayak. The staff are mainly young students but they are very nice and attentive. The pool is ok nothing special but great for kids. For seniors or those with mobility issues you might want to think twice about this place. There are 100 stairs to go down to the beach. No problem if you don't have health issues but it could be a concern otherwise. The general maintenance is not great. You can see that the resorts is managed on a tight budget but they take care of the essentials. The rooms are older though they are clean just don't expect luxury accommodations. We had a lake view and balcony which I recommend. Initally when we checked in we were given a room which was not the same as the description when we booked so just beware of this. The desk representative was so nice and she put us in another room with the balcony and lake view. The food is good although a bit pricey . Luckly Huntsville is close by so you have plently of options. One evening we had as entertainment a guitar player /folk singer who was excellent. Overall it was a nice gettaway. I would recommend it if you want to get away for a few days and not spend a fortune."
"Booked a cabin for a 3 nights this June, for a short anniversary get-away. From check-in to check-out the staff were great! Courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area, which is beautiful. Did not take advantage of all they have to offer, tennis court, spa, but we did spend time on the water in the kayaks, relaxing by the water, and doing a bit if hiking. The food was excellent, as was the service (thanks again to Jennifer and the breakfast servers). The cabin itself was just that, a cabin. Although it required some attention, it did us just fine. There was no A/C, but there was a ceiling fan, and a portable fan; no satellite or tv in the cabin, but plenty of games and movies. It was nice to be out of the hustle bustle of life and leave alone some of the creature comforts we seem to rely on too much. Thank you to all at Trillium Resort and Spa... our trip was memorable."
"Beautiful location with excellent food and fantastic staff.
The rooms need some updates and it reminded me of a quaint old cottage but we really enjoyed our stay and would go back"
"We stayed in the Dome and had a fantastic weekend.
The Dome is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Harsha our host went out of her way to make our stay as pleasant and special as possible.
The hotel is in a beautiful location near lots of nice restaurants and hiking trails. As a bonus lots of very tame deer like to walk around the hotel which is great for photo opportunities. We will definitely return here!"
