Fantastic experience! The staff was above and beyond the best! Very friendly, informative, helpful in every way. The ice hotel experience was something I will never forget! Highs - amazing ice hotel, wonderful main restaurant, lovely bar and adventure center, friendly staff (though too few), proximity to Sami center. Lows - crowded messy lobby, long lines, minimal amenities before or after ice hotel night, very out of date "chalet" room, general uncleanliness.

Alright hotel

Arrived a bit late because I drove in from Alta in Norway. And because I went to the Tirpitz museum and spent longer there than I initially thought I would spend there. Room was alright. Really hot, though. Luckily, the front desk gave me a fan, which I then had next to me the entire night. Got a free upgrade, which basically consisted of 2 cans of Loka water, 1 can of Coke and 1 can of Fanta Orange. And a mini bag of Ahlgrens Bilar. Lots of mosquitos in the area, so had to sleep with the windows closed. Bathroom was alright, but space between sink and tap was so small my hands wouldn't fit. Washing my hands was a bit of a pain. The toilet seat was made of wood, but a bit too small. Shower was alright, but the soaps weren't. Also: they were out of shower gel. Breakfast was really early. Which, in turn, allowed me to start my day early and also arrive early at my next location. In all, it was an alright hotel.
