Great value hotel that’s not “posh” but has everything you need, situated on a phenomenal beach.

Only stayed a few nights but found the room to be satisfactory. Owner and staff helpful. Convenient to beautiful beach.

Beautiful resort. Some of the best beaches we have ever seen. Staff were so helpful and friendly. It was very quiet when we were there at the end of October but I guess that’s just the season. We had. 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite with lounge diner and wraparound balcony. The accommodation was immaculately clean and cleaned twice daily. We’d recommend it.

Excellent hotel & amazing staff who go the extra mile. The cleanliness of the rooms & general areas excellent. Pillow menu not quite but an excellent choice of pillows available. The only downside & it’s a small one is the poor quality of the WiFi. It perhaps is stronger nearer the main building but we were in one of the Sanctuary room which are the furthest away from the main buildings. The food is amazing as are the drinks. Breakfast brings Chef Andy with his basket of freshly baked pastries.

Beautiful place in an amazing location but above all the staff were above and beyond. The breakfast chef, the waitresses at breakfast and the especially the bar man Dalston. They really made our trip. Should have stayed longer.

Great stay clean and comfortable loved the morning snorkel on the reef. Very homely.

Pretty everything was great, perfect holiday, stayed only 2 nights but will definitely come back and stay longer. The location is great and the food as well, the staff makes you feel special and taken care of. Perfect island to relax and forget about daily routine.

Jackie went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay and was the most wonderful host. Her cooking is an absolute must try!! Sunset villas are a 5-10 min walk to a beautiful beach with bars and restaurants, perfect location.

We stayed here for 5 days - lovely location and staff. Will definitely come again. There are several bars and restaurants nearby which you can walk to along the beach. Also, OJ's is just next door which is a fin outdoor restaurant. would certainly recommend.

This hotel came highly recommended by friends and I am very happy to repeat those recommendations. Lush garden environment with many interesting plants. Extensive variety of birds and small (harmless) creatures. Great staff, a desk which is open until late every day. Great hotel with a beach on the windward side and another on the leeward side, so you can get waves and quiet water. All the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Feels like visiting long lost family.

We loved this hotel, it's a gem of a place. Run with care and attention to detail, the overall ambience is pretty special. Gorgeous setting in a truly historic dock area. Rooms are respectful of the original colonial architecture and so have a lovely loft/warehouse type feel. It's quietly classy without trying too hard, eg it's an easy place to relax in, laid back while respectful if that makes sense. Nelsons dockyard is a lovely place to wander around, beautifully preserved and easy to see...

Beautiful peaceful location and plenty of areas to relax so does not feel crowded. Right on a small but lovely sandy beach. Attentive pleasant staff.

Great location right by the harbour in a historic place.

Great place to stay. Nice room. Restaurant, pool, views all very good. The only thing that might bother some people is the location- it's a fair walk down to the beach at Dickenson Bay, and a tough climb back up. If you have a hire car, it's not an issue, but we didn't, and for example needed a taxi to get anywhere, eg into St Johns.

I love hotel

We were a little sceptical about Galleon Beach Resort due to limited reviews but we did not regret booking. Upon arrival Talia showed us down to Sea Breeze - cottage number 10. She left a welcome sheet providing her mobile number incase we needed it, numbers of taxis etc. The cottage was beautiful with a living area with two small couches, a kitchenette with microwave, toaster, coffee maker, fridge water cooler and 2 plate hob.
