"Fantastic place to stay. Unfortunately at 4am, the wind outside shifted from the north, carrying down valley the odor from the paper pulp mill in Johnsonburg. Very unpleasant to say the least. Sleep was over. The odor envelopes the entire town of Ridgeway and valley. Not the fault of the hotel, it’s a great stay. Strangely enough, check the wind direction forecast!"

"The room was clean. The bed had a firmer mattress but that what I like. My room was in the back row and the only way to was a very narrow driveway. "

"Friendly staff, extremely accommodating, clean, comfy room, free breakfast with choices of cereal, pancakes, 2 types of omelettes, sausages, warm cinnamon rolls. "

"Small family-owned B&B, and owner takes the time to get to know you. Rooms are old-fashioned but comfy if you like a no-nonsense stay without bells and whistles. Homemade breakfast is provided in the morning but the portions are pretty small. Pretty easy walk to restaurants and businesses in the downtown area. "

"Property is clean. It is located close to the road so you can hear the traffic and trucks all night long if you are a light sleeper. The bed is VERY firm as well. The shower pressure is really good and the water gets hot— nice and relaxing after hiking and looking for elk."
