"Very basic 2/3 star hotel, with limited restoration to the historic architecture of the hotel. No TV/cable in rooms, frequent power outages, and it's located some distance from Mandawa. There are significantly better properties in Mandawa, where I wish I had stayed. I would not stay here again. "

"The staff was very nice and did eveything to make my stay comfortable. The Rajasthani food is quite nice. However, having said that, the price per night is a bit steep. For the same amount, I have stayed at much more luxurious and better located properties. I think the per night rate is at least 30% higher than what it should be. All in all, I did have a pleasent stay at Koolwal Kothi"

"THE HOTEL WAS FILTHY DIRTY. WE WERE SHOWN 4 BEDROOMS AND HOTEL WAS EMPTY THERE WAS NO HOT WATER THEY BOILED WATER AND GAVE US IN BUCKETS. THANK GOD WE ONLY STAYED 1 NIGHT AND DIDN'T INCLUDE THE BREAKFAST. THE HOTEL HAS LOVELY DESIGN AND HAS LOTS OF HISTORY SHAME THE OWNER IS NOT BOTHERED TO CLEAN AND MAINTAIN."
