Comfort Hotel Xpress Youngstorget
8/10 Good
"We loved this Hotel. It is not for you if you are looking for fancy or even 3 star amenitues but the soft spring coil mattress with foam topper was comfortable. The duvet and pillows were excellent. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the atmosphere is hip and the whole place is geared toward longer stays. And the location is perfect. 15 min walk to the oslofjord(waterfront) and closer to other key sites. Very walkable area of the city. They are working hard at environmental sustainability. The back side of the hotel has a view of the city but it is in the centre of the Oslo nightclub scene so weekends are noisy if your window is open. However you really feel part of the energy of the city."

Smarthotel Oslo
4/10 Poor
"Small and bad. Sheets unclean, had to make your own bed, only one towel for a two person booking, dirty walls, light flickering lights that needed changing, elevator and self check in did not work or had problems, not vey “smart” at all…good luck if your on the top floor, could be going up and down dropping other guests off before elevator isn’t in use/ needed….our room looked completely different to photos (box room) which is not “sound deadening”. Extremely hot hotel, heating on high! Price state was a variation bit of a con, twice the price we were expected after add ons , booking fees, breakfast. Could have something a lot nicer for the price! Ran down needs maintenance! Would not recommend!"

Anker Hotel
6/10 Okay
"A mixed stay to be honest. The bed and room is nice, but then the window framing didn’t fit and was roughly constructed. The bathroom was fine but then just a single unlabelled mystery pump dispenser in shower. The staff were helpful and nice (shout out to those supporting breakfast), and the location was handy for trams (using Oslo pass). But you could hear the trams rubbling past the hotel even on higher floors. There’s good eating options a stroll up the road, but again you could hear bar music at night. A mixed stay but noting that the breakfast was great, lots of choices, and although busy was always fresh."

Karl Johan Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great hotel! Would stay again here!"

Radisson Blu Airport Hotel, Oslo Gardermoen
2/10 Terrible
"Dinner option was just a terrible buffet only at a very high cost. Staff didn’t give info that guests can walk out to eat at the airport restaurants accessible without requiring a boarding pass. No water bottles in the room. No creamer for coffee or tea. No one to help with luggage. Worst hotel."

Clarion Hotel Oslo Airport
4/10 Poor
"No air conditioning!!! Was so hot as the room was on a sunny side. Windows open a tiny crack not much air flow to cool the room."

Park Inn by Radisson Oslo Airport Hotel West
6/10 Okay
"Expensive for car parking. No airport shuttle provided. Small room for a double"

Bunks at Rode
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent! Very clean, good facilities"

Radisson RED Oslo Økern
8/10 Good
"For most this will be a non issue, but the TVs are quite old, and they have overhauled them with their own hotel interface, unfortunately for a tech head like me it made it harder to connect devices. They have Chromecast, but you'd better prey your device has it. The safe wouldnt work, and even the phone in the room (the style over substance red phone) would ring but when you picked up it wouldn't answer. The smart tech in the room seemed to have a life of its own, opening and shutting blinds to its own accord. Also the air con gets so loud it was hard to sleep, but I am particularly sensitive. The breakfast was nice, seemed to cater to the fried breakfast and cold meat crowd. Cereal was there, but lots of dried fruits instead of more fresh ones."
