It was a fantastic getaway, we stayed in the two bedroom pet friendly cabin and had an amazing time. Very clean, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The views from the main lodge are breathtaking. We will be back for sure
Great stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Lodge. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the rooms were even better than the images online. The rooms were very clean and included a coffee maker. It was about a 1 hour drive to Jasper everyday. Although the drive can be long, it is a beautiful drive surrounded by wildlife and mountains. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. I will definitely recommend this stay to friends and family.
Amazing stay! And the cabin and main building were both fully renovated and updated over the winter, making it a even more beautiful location we expected. The lounge and dining room have exceptional views and the food was great. They also have a great coffee machine at the lobby bar which makes a great start to the day. Would definitely recommend this resort!
We had an amazing stay in the main building, with a Mountain View room. The lodge is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the food in the restaurant is outstanding. Dinner and breakfast both the best meals we had while travelling through the Rockies. Happy to recommend Overlander to anyone passing through or near the area, and because it’s just outside of Jasper National Park boundary, it’s much better value!
Our stay here was amazing. All of the staff were extremely friendly and gave us great ideas of things to do and see. Food was delicious. Room along with entire place was very clean and tidy. Nice outside area to sit along with inside areas to sit and relax. We loved our balcony and the view from our room. Only downfall is its about 45 min from Jasper.
Beautiful/quiet location with restaurant overlooking the mountains, great food/service at breakfast/dinner. Excellent staff, very helpful when checking-in when we made last minute changes to our stay and accommodated us to a new upgraded room. Fireplace was perfect in our chalet on the snowy cool days during our stay. Overall an enjoyable experience.
No elevator in the lodge, so we hauled our suitcases up the stairs. We were anxious to watch FIFA World Cup soccer, but there was no TV in the room. The meals and drinks at the Lodge were way overpriced. The lodge is between Hinton and Jasper, so there are no nearby restaurants or food stores. The room was clean and the view from the balcony was great.
The pictures don’t tell the real story unless you book a room right up front. Mostly locally owned houses. Nothing fancy or unique about our unit. They did put a couple pics of our unit but they were tucked in with lots of them showing nice woodwork and features. A massive stretch to use term “chalet.” Terrible tv reception when it rained which was frustrating.
The brewery right near by was awesome. Front desk staff were extremely kind and welcoming.
