I wanted no food after kitchen was closed just a bowl for some soup and a spoon, they told me no. The bed was too hard and pillows were not filled enough. Noise from street and mosque 🕌 way too loud. Don't stay here. "

Upgraded room was very appreciated. Neha one of the concierges was super helpful and was more than helpful and accommodating. My brother and I especially appreciated the farewell card she left for us. We will surely stay at the Mandarin again the next time we are in Jakarta."

Central of Jakarta on Election Day. The US Ambassador's house and Jakarta Governor's house are right at this park. The tents are normally not around, only for the election. Most dwellers in this up-scale neighborhood don't normally meet or even see their neighbors. But, on Election Day it is the only time when they meet each other. The legislative election went smoothly. The organizers at this spot provided free water, juice, ice tea, ice coffee and local chicken porridge. Quite a surprise to see how organized they are. It's once every five years to see this spectacle.
