Although the facility appears fairly new, the shower water pressure was so poor. After reporting and maintenance repairing, the pressure was worse. Almost impossible to shower. We spent 2 nights and were told there is no daily housekeeping after our first day.

As soon as I walked in the room I spot a roach on the bathroom sink. I smashed it and took it to show the front desk staff, which surprisingly didn’t do anything about it aside from saying “I am sorry” and asking me what was my room number. This is worse than having a roach in a $200 hotel room.

Amelia Hotel at the Beach
Walls were thin, could hear fighting/snoring/dog barking in other rooms, outdoor traffic. Breakfast was very good, one of the few highlights. Bed saggy. Key cards were incorrectly deactivated TWICE during a 5-night stay, necessitating extra trips to the Front Desk so we could get into our room. Housekeeping ...
