Lovely welcome at reception. Really nice large room. Lovely meal in restaurant and amazing cocktails in the bar!

Wow. This inn is all about the past but with a modern, friendly approach. The building is very old and the furnishings in the communal areas are in-keeping with the building. The owners and the La staff (Mary, John and Christina) are just amazing and cannot do enough to ensure that your stay is the best it can be. The bedroom was comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and should not be missed. The afternoon, homemade cookies are simply divine. It was a shame to leave, but our travel...

We only stayed one night but would definitely have liked to stay longer. The staff were lovely and our room was clean and comfortable. We ate in the hotel and, despite a longer than usual wait, the meal was very tasty. The help yourself pantry was well stocked but, as a food allergy sufferer, I would have appreciated an allergen list to refer to. Quiet area with plenty of parking.

Perfect

The breakfast was amazing. The views from the balconies were awesome. The staff was so nice and the parking was safe.

Jackson certainly is not big., but you have a river and village green, a walk to the water fall. good restaurants, with excellent beer. The inn itself has two comfortable lounges, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the breakfasts are prepared for you bacon , sausage and eggs, pancakes and a selection of hot meals as well as the normal continental. The staff are friendly and very helpful in suggesting the sites. Mount Washington is within a short drive and the scenery is some of the best in...

A lovely historic hotel in a beautiful setting. We had a two room suite which was large and airy. The bed was very comfortable indeed. There is coffee and tea in the lobby and home made cookies from 4 pm. We enjoyed sitting on the wonderful veranda in the evenings with a delicious cocktail created by Brian. Loved the swimming pool situated in it's own little 'magic glade'. We stayed for two nights and had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant twice. One evening was substantially better than...

Beautiful room in the Salt Box. Plenty of space to relax, King-size bed and beautiful bathroom. Breakfasts were included and served (only limited items on the buffet e.g. no fruit juice) so you have to order and…………tip!) Food at breakfast and dinner is superb, fresh, beautifully presented and full of flavour. Only downside of our 3 night experience was the Maitre d' experience ; plenty of available tables at breakfast but Kathy keeps you waiting at the desk while she fiddles with coffee maker,...

Lovely quiet inn with comfortable rooms

Quiet location excellent hosts huge comfy bed great breakfast...& a pool & hot tub 😁 What’s not to like!

This was a beautiful hotel, the staff were extremely helpful and ensured our stay was perfect - we only wished we had arranged to stay longer.

The staff were friendly, the room was clean an comfortable. Breakfast was nice. Would have been nice to have some vegetables in the breakfast. Was nice and warming to have 24h hit Cider and apples available.

Lovely hotel for a one night stay during our roadtrip. Unfortunately we were too early for the fall colours - but I can imagine they are spectacular from this hotel. Lovely touches at this hotel but be sure to book ahead for breakfast and dinner as they book up fast!! Unfortunately we didn't get to use the pool due to bad weather. The hot tub looked a bit tired. Good breakfast but not a buffet.
