"Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Room was clean but as a Westerner, the beds are too had an uncomfortable and the pillows are flat. TVs should be updated where customers can BlueTooth to the TV for streaming (not everyone speaks Japanese or wants to watch Japanese television). Shower head/water pressure feels like you are being pelted with needles. Dryer function on washing machine does not work well so be prepared to air dry which takes a long time. Otherwise, very centrally located and we completely enjoyed our stay. "

"Only stayed one night. Desk staff was cheerful and efficient. Room was clean but had no chairs with backs and, unlike most Mr. Kinjo locations, there was no clothes washing machine. The lobby area is spacious. It was perfectly good as a one-night stay."

"My wife and I stayed two nights. "Resort" seems to be a misnomer. It's just a 10-floor building with rooms. And our room on the eighth floor was just plain -- nothing, no painting, no photograph, on the walls. More unsettling, the outside of the windows was very dirty; it looked as if they hadn't been cleaned in months, so we felt like we were in a cave. And the shower curtain had a lot of visible mold; it needs to be replaced. Customers complete check-in by scanning a QR code on a tablet; we received our code via email a few days before we arrived. But again, there is no "resort" feeling, no welcome at all. You just walk in and a sign on a wall tells to scan your code as if you are staying in a dormitory. Also, please note there are two buildings, an A and B; make sure you go to the correct building. There seemed to be a small cafe near the entrance, but we didn't use it. And on this visit to Miyako, we got by without a rental car, so I cannot comment on the parking. Generally, I don't like to leave negative comments, but we certainly won't be returning to this "resort." On the one positive side, the hotel is right in the middle of the city, so you can walk to all of the restaurants and coffee shops. A cab to the airport cost us 1500 yen and took about 10 minutes."
