"TV didn't have signal and room could do with an update. Couldn't find anyone for breakfast but none of that mattered. We had a clean comfy bed in an amazing piece of history. Its great value for a room smack bang in the centre. This was my 3rd time and im still amazed that this hotel has retained so much of its architectural history particularly in the courtyard and Tudor landings. "

"The hotel was in quite a good position for us to walk to the centre. Parking was good. The ensuite was too small, with no room to hang a bath towel. I was pleased to see a fridge in the bedroom but I was disappointed in the breakfast. The hot breakfast was nicely cooked, but I think it is unusual in English hotels not to be offered any fruit or yogurt, which I missed, particularly on the days we chose to have a continental breakfast."

"No complaints at all about the property it was spotless and in a perfect location. Parking was secure and well organised. Our only compliant is that we checked out over a week ago and have still not received a refund of the deposit by bank transfer as promised even though we were informed it was being paid. We stay in a lot of holiday lets with refundable deposits and have never had to use a bank transfer system before. Using a credit card guarantee is in our view far better as bank transfers are cumbersome and cause extra work for both parties."

"Lovely bright and airy 2 bed apartment with balcony. Great location opposite the park with a few minute walk into Gloucester centre and quays. Very clean with good amenities apart from lacking a dishwasher .. which on this occasion was not a problem for us as we only stayed 2 nights and eat out. Easy parking in property’s own car park. Did ask about parking for an extra car but wasn’t too happy about the location or tidiness of this as looked run down with rubbish and nails etc on the ground so did not use. "
