Ives Estates Trip

Simple, close to the beach, very clean, quiet, staff very polite and helpful, free black coffee in the morning and iced water available all day at lobby area. Beach towel available daily at lobby at no extra cost. We arrived 2 hours earlier day 1 and we were able to check-in at no extra cost. Breakfast available and affordable, please note breakfast and pool was served at president hotel, had to walk there daily ( about 3min walk). I will definitely stay again. We had a great time.

The sheets had stains on the when we arrived. The room was outdated but for the price we did kind of expect that. I was told we would have to pay extra for any additional sheets however when I told them they had already started out looking dirty they finally gave us new, but that was several nights into the stay. Most staff didn't speak english so there wasn't great communication or friendliness. It was nice to have the pool and beach within walking distance. Windows would open but no screens which was disappointing because if you wanted fresh air there was a fear of birds flying in. We also had a decent leak from our AC unit running down through the drywall causing it to bubble up and pool on the floor which caused me to slip and fall.

I honestly had such a lovely stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, everything felt easy and comfortable. The breakfast was simple but exactly what you need. I also really appreciated the beach towel service. It’s one of those small details that actually makes a big difference. I also really appreciated the luggage storage service. Being able to safely store my bags and enjoy my last day freely until my flight schedule made a big difference and showed how considerate the hotel is toward its guests. The staff were consistently kind, professional, and always ready to help with any questions or requests. Their positive attitude made the stay even more pleasant. Finally, the location was absolutely perfect — everything you might need was within walking distance, making it easy to explore and enjoy the area. Overall, a fantastic stay with great service, excellent amenities, and a prime location. Highly recommended!

Room very nice but not very well designed. Bed and couch on a riser- not the floor- requiring a step up to get to each. Everytime you got up at night- a light would come on and stay on for 10 minutes. Safety so you don’t fall- but should we really have a bed on a riser? Found the light on disruptive to getting back to sleep. Very dark room- not well lit at all. No makeup mirror Slippery marble floor shower- ask for a rubber mat- which we finally got the day before our stay ended Great access to pool and beach Great service in hotel and beach Great service from the house car Very pleasant staff Mini bar beverages not cold- required ice to chill No ice machine- but they brought the ice to you if you called and requested Nice roof top pool but music was too loud to enjoy. Could not eat at Watr restaurant - roof top-due to the loud music Reserved a shower room to freshen up after check out our last day- but did not get one- had to use the gym for getting cleaned up for our flight- lot of disorganization around this entire situation. No one ever offered and explanation on what happened- did not have time to investigate- trying ti get to airport. Great location and vibe- we enjoyed our stay but would not stay here again.
