Top Isle of Muck Hotel Reviews

Park Lodge Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Helpful staff. Allowed parking during the day before check in. Had a superior room which was very spacious and included a fridge and coffee machine. Dinner staff found a quieter place for us in the busy dining space (unusually the bar area was quieter)."

Morar Hotel
8/10 Good
"When every thing was booked up we ended up staying at Morar Hotel for three nights instead of one. We had to do some room switching here and there as each night was booked separately due to our situation and they were most helpful in the process. It is a bit of a budget place but the location is lovely and the views amazing. The staff were great and the food was good in the restaurant. On the last night my room was a little unclean (crumbs on the floor and desk shelf) but I was tired and it really made no big difference to me, again the view was there! Overall I would recommend a stay here as there are not a ton of options in the area and things book up far in advance."

Canna Campsite
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful stay. Great views."

Loch Shiel Hotel
4/10 Poor
"The only things the Loch Shiel had going for it was that it was clean and on the way to where we were going. The view out the back of the hotel was a very nice bonus. The staff aside from the bartender was grouchy, cold and unfriendly. Absolutely zero Highland hospitality. The menu you see online IS NOT the menu available at the restaurant. The actual menu is very limited and the food was not very good. We were the first group seated at dinner at 7 and the last group served at 8:30 pm. There were 5 other groups who came in after us and were served and finished their meals before we were even served. We cannot recommend Loch Shiel hotel. If you need a hotel in the area our friends had a much better experience in the town of Strantion."

Roslyn House
10/10 Excellent
"Quite an unusual place. Fanciful colorful decor, designed by someone with a sense of fun. No visible staff. No reception desk—they tell you the room number and door passcode ahead of time. A well stocked bar, but no bartender—serve yourself honor system payment. Continental breakfast is already in your refrigerator when you arrive, and is high quality (with Prosecco!) and is magically restocked daily. It sounds bizarre but it works. Everything is in good repair and comfortable. Staff is available by phone if you have a problem, which we did and they were very responsive. The big drawback is that walking to the Main Street and harbor, though close, is very steep. Highly recommend driving to the harbor parking lot."

Tobermory Youth Hostel
10/10 Excellent
"The owner was exceptional in that he was very detail oriented about the property and was knowledgeable about the area."

West Highland Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were late checking in due to car issues and the person on the desk made us sandwiches without being asked. So thoughtful."

Chlachain Inn
8/10 Good
"Proper stay for a night or two. Very friendly welcome at the bar. Room was recently renovated with a good mattress and clean bathroom. Improvement points: Hallway to the rooms smells to smoking. Service at breakfast could be improved, the lady seemed in a bad mood."

Glenuig Inn
8/10 Good
"This is a beautiful place to stay. The view is spectacular. Rooms were clean and the staff was amazing. The only issue was that we expected a tv, but didn't have one. But found out that we didn't need it after all. That was the only reason I gave it 4 stars."
