"We absolutely loved Vila Galé Tavira! From our amazing check-in staff to the entertainment and vibrant atmosphere right along the riverside in the heart of Tavira’s culinary delights, this property is a MUST STAY and made for a truly pleasant experience.
The outdoor pool and patio area were wonderful spots to relax and soak up the sunshine by the Gilão riverfront. (The onsite gym is cozy, too, with adequate equipment to get a good sweat while on property).
The experience was similar to being on a cruise ship with all of the scheduled events. The pool was incredible. You can spend all day at the pool and be entertained the entire time. We had Sangria making classes, water dance and aerobic classes.
The second tier of the pool has private cabanas on a first come first serve basis. Well worth it for an afternoon siesta. The onsite gym is cozy and has adequate equipment to get a good sweat on while on property.
The only thing that was not a perfect score was the breakfast. It had a lot of offerings but not as delightful as I would have preferred. I did like the fact that it was included in the price of the room though, it made mornings relaxed.
All in all, I would definitely return and highly recommend it for your visit to the Algarve."
