"I went to go use the elevator and someone's dog peed on the floor. I told the lady at the front desk and told her it needed to be cleaned up and it went uncleaned for the whole night and into the morning until the cleaning staff came in."

"I’ve stayed in this hotel many times and each time the stay has been excellent. The last two times I’ve stayed on the second floor and for some reason the stay has just been less than excellent. I can’t put my finger on it. I think the beds were not as comfy or I was too tired so every little noise or flashing light seemed to keep me from sleeping well. I still give the hotel 5 stars but it’s a lower 5 star experience."

"The staff treated us with kindness and respect. We let a wonderful lady know that we were celebrating a special time as a couple, “50” YEARS OF MARRIAGE!!! She upgraded us to a room overlooking the beautiful St.Croix River. Such a Class Act!!! Nice hut tub in the room and a cozy deck overlooking the beautiful bridge and river walk. The gas fireplace topped off a beautiful time at the rooftop bar restaurant on a chilly evening, we warmed up in our cozy room. My wife and I highly recommend this amazing getaway in beautiful Stillwater Mn."

"Beautiful facility, friendly staff. I didn't notice that I needed to mention to the staff that I would like my room serviced so we came back to the room after a long day out and we did not have fresh towels. My mistake for not noticing the notice that was posted, I guess. Also awakened both nights by loud guests in the hall. I would definitely stay again."

"Overall, we had a good stay. The hotel was clean, and the staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. There were a few things that took away from the experience. Our room was next to a utility room, which created a loud roaring noise that could be heard inside our room. The curtains also would not open because the chain mechanism wasn’t working. We also booked the club floor specifically because the website advertised included appetizers and breakfast items. However, we were disappointed to find that these amenities were not available on weekends. This was not clearly disclosed on the website, and had we known, we would not have paid extra for the club floor. Overall, the friendly staff and cleanliness were definite positives."
