"The facilities are in excellent condition, the staff is lovely, the breakfast is very good, and it's not far from the Kruger gate and shops. Unfortunately the people in the adjacent room to mine were blaring music or TV until late in the evening and I had to wear ear plugs to sleep. But the place itself is great. "

"We stayed at the Sunbird Lodge for 3 nights, and it was very peaceful and quiet. It had two twin beds, a set of bunk beds, small kitchenette, television, air conditioning, desk and chair, as well as outdoor patio. The pool was clean and extremely warm, but refreshing. The outside area was well maintained and staff was always busy keeping it that way. The common area had a bar (honor system) and rooftop patio with comfortable furniture. The breakfast area was beautifully arranged and we enjoyed the large fish tank. The breakfast was delightful, as well as delicious and made to order. There was plenty to choose from. The staff, especially the hosts deserve recognition for such warm hospitality and recommendations. Dave made Safari reservations for us and our guide was simply the best. The restaurant recommendation was wonderful so we eat there 3 times! We would not hesitate to stay there again and highly recommend. Thumbs up to Sunbird Lodge! Thank you!"
