A fantastic and spotlessly clean hotel. We stayed here for a week at the start of March. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the best, which meant the rooftop bar and pool area was closed for the first couple of days. Despite the weather, Olhao is a lovely little town with enough bars and restaurants all within walking distance of the hotel. Absolutely lovely place to stay. The staff are lovely. The room was right sized and clean. Every part of the common areas was also very clean. The breakfast was also very good with a wide range only options The only bit of a small bother was the location which is a bit away from the main attractions. But the hotel provides a pick up and drop option. Although you are best off if you have your own car

Lovely stay with all the comforts but there was a mix up as we went to check out, i went to settle a bar bill and was presented with a full bill for the accommodation as well as the bar bill. The accommodation had previously been paid at the time of booking.

The facilities at the hotel matched the description, staff were very helpful , food perfect and plentiful. The location was perfect with a short walk into the town for shopping and evening meals. Would definitely return.

This was one of those places that is a pleasant surprise, not because of anything major, but because everything is done well, and without fuss or annoyance. The staff are friendly and helpful without being intrusive or overbearing, the hotel is clean and well maintained in both private and public areas. The food is good and the location is convenient for both local facilities and travel further afield.

Great local hotel within easy walking distance from the train station in Tavira. Friendly welcoming staff on arrival and throughout our 4 night stay. Comfortable modern room with smart new bathroom and balcony overlooking well kept gardens. Decent sized outdoor swimming pool for a relaxing dip on an afternoon. Great hotel in a residential rather than tourist area within easy walking distance of the historic town. The hotel itself is within the Ria Shopping Centre on the 2nd floor with lift access and is very modern and clean. Good breakfast and free hot drinks available throughout the day. Would recommend.

Perfect hotel for overnight stay close to Faro Airport. We landed close to midnight and walked to the hotel in 10 minutes. Clean rooms, comfy beds, breakfast and pool then checkout at noon. Great place.

Great place, loved our stay. Not a lot nearby apart from boat to beach, but loved resort and didn’t need to go anywhere else

Daily rates as well as able to book in advance really enjoyed this place nice gift left on arrival as it was Halloween good quality produce shower gel free tea& coffee clean and comfortable

Friendly staff. Excellent location. Good views of Tavira. Historical sites within walking distance. The pick up point for the boat trip is within 20 metres of the hotel. Plenty of variety at breakfast including scrambled eggs and bacon. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

We had an excellent twelve days. Staff could not have been more helpful; including giving guidance on how to travel by coach/bus to Vilamoura, I was grateful for the attention to detail - even printing off the timetable for me, and discussing the practicalities. The thing which impressed me the most was the willingness of the staff to ensure that you had a great stay - suggestions about activities for my child were personalised. Service is excellent

Just returned from another lovely stay at Vila Gale. All staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We were given a river view room with a lovely aspect overlooking the ferry and boats on the river. There was plenty of variety at breakfast and great to sit outside in the sunshine. We made good use of the shuttle bus to take us into town ... unfortunately it still doesn't run on Monday or Tuesday . Ferries to the wonderful Terra Estreita beach were very always on...

Spacious, quiet and beautiful hotel in a former convent. Tastefully and sympathetically converted, peaceful gardens and pool, beautiful open courtyard. Some of the best dining in town. Staff were exemplary, friendly and highly skilled. Wifi was good and male parking for guests. Very highly recommended.

All the staff were charming and exceptionally helpful. Rooms and communal areas were immaculately clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable with new mattresses. Airport Transfers were arranged for us and reasonably priced. The driver was a friendly character too.
